Intralox, L.L.C., seeks an innovative engineer to optimize material handling systems for customers in the parcel logistics and e-commerce industries using Intralox's automated equipment technology.
This position is preferably located at an Intralox facility either in Hanover, MD near Baltimore-Washington International Airport or the Intralox office in Harahan, LA (New Orleans).

Responsibilities:
*Build in-depth understanding of Intralox equipment capabilities and value in the Logistics and Material Handling market.
*Support account teams to gain a deep understanding of customers' challenges and evaluate opportunities to optimize their systems.
*Create high-performing solutions optimized for customer value
*Interpret customer specifications and criteria to recommend appropriate scope, develop layout drawings, and estimate costs.
*Evaluate and mitigate technical risk involved in projects.
*Present detailed solutions to customers using tools such as CAD and simulation software.
*Contribute to the improvement of products, processes, and applications based on customer needs.
*Up to 30% travel is required for customer visits, system troubleshooting, and training.
Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or similar engineering
*1-5 years in related engineering field
*Excellent communication skills and customer facing experience.
*Proven capability of documenting and completing projects in an organized manner on time.
*Analytical problem solver and willing to be "hands-on"
*Ability to travel including occasional weekend travel if required
*Experience with CAD
Desired Qualifications:
*Knowledge of conveyance systems
*Experience with electrical controls
*Experience with automation

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training and key skills. Therefore, we encourage all qualified applicants to apply regardless of their salary expectations.
The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans
Salary Range $67,000 to $155,700.
