Requisition ID req31948 Working Title Faculty Affairs & Svcs Cnslt Position Grade 13 Position Summary The Health Science Center (HSC) Faculty Contracts Office is the expert resource on all aspects of faculty hiring. We seek a highly motivated, detailed, and organized person to join our team. It is a challenging position that requires an individual who is dedicated to excellence in customer service and excels at managing multiple competing deadlines and responsibilities. This individual will administer and assist in human resource and hiring matters concerning HSC faculty, Temporary Part-time Faculty (TPT's), and postdoctoral fellows. This includes: Providing advice and assistance to faculty and staff on hiring, employment policies and procedures, and benefits. Conducting in-depth compliance review of recruitment and hiring within UNMJobs. Generating and processing new and renewal faculty contracts. Conducting in-depth benefits orientation. Maintaining source data and records utilizing an internal database and Banner. Administering and monitoring faculty payroll and nonstandard payments and ensuring accurate and timely achievement of payroll deadlines while maintaining the accuracy of payroll and demographic data. Assisting with training and informational workshops regarding the faculty hiring process for department administrators and support staff. Participating in the planning, development, and implementation of systems, policies, and procedures related to faculty hiring and contracts. Other miscellaneous job-related duties. Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications
