Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Guide and mentor students: Provide personalized coaching and support to help students navigate their academic journey, address challenges, and develop essential skills.
  • Build strong relationships: Connect with students on a personal level, fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
  • Identify and address student needs: Proactively identify at-risk students and implement appropriate interventions to ensure their success.
  • Promote student engagement and retention: Participate in campus events and initiatives to enhance the student experience and foster a positive learning community.
  • Collaborate with campus teams: Partner with faculty, staff, and other departments to ensure seamless student support and address any concerns effectively.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience: Prior experience in education, student support, or a related field preferred

Skills:

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written)
  • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse populations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
