New York Tech's Office of Academic Affairs seeks a PATH Program Manager, reporting to the Senior Associate Dean of Undergraduate Student Success and Advising. This hybrid remote position will play a major role in the implementation of our Pathways for Advancing and Thriving in Higher Education (PATH) Program funded by the U.S. Department of Education Postsecondary Student Success Grant (PSSG). Occasional travel to both campuses is anticipated.

Position Duration: This is a full-time, benefits eligible, grant funded position. Continued employment is contingent upon avialbality of funding beyond the conclusion of the grant, which is September 30, 2028.

This position is hybrid/remote and travel to both campuses is anticipated as in line with New York Tech remote work policy and grant activity needs.



Responsibilities

    Provide daily management and oversight of PATH Program implementation and related logistics, ensuring the timely achievement of stated goals and objectives, with a strong emphasis on robust assessment and evaluation of outcomes, complemented by regular collaboration with the entire PATH Program team.
  • Collaborate with the external evaluators to finalize the evaluation plan and begin the evaluation process for the randomized control trial (RTC), ensuring timely and systematic data collection as well as access to students for survey administration and focus group feedback.
  • Partner with external evaluators and NYIT's Office of Research, Assessment, and Decision Support (RADS) to develop optimal strategies for data collection and tracking in line with RTC protocols, evaluation plan and process.
  • Work with NYIT's Office of Research, Assessment, and Decision Support (RADS) to develop management reports, review performance outcomes, identify trends, and inform continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive event and activity plan for student cohorts participating in the grant.
  • Track progress against deliverables and outcomes, documenting achievements in compliance with grant requirements.
  • Create a comprehensive PATH Program Manual based on the grant proposal, ensuring strict adherence to grant terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and submit project budgets, including periodic modifications, and financial reports to the PATH Program Co-Directors and other relevant offices.
  • Coordinate communications, and data requests with project stakeholders. including the advisory council, campus division leaders, and external evaluators.
  • Maintain accurate and complete reporting and documentation systems.


Qualifications

  • Master's degree in higher education administration, public policy or related field.
  • Three to five years succesful experience directing U.S. Department of Education, Title III, PSSG, or comparable large federal grant or project.
  • Experience working with budgets and developing and interpreting management and evaluation reports preferred.
  • Excellent data literacy skills and experience with data.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required, as is ability to work with multiple and diverse stakeholders to achieve project deliverables.

New York Tech considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience/expertise, education/training, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market, organizational considerations and/or applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.

USD $75,000.00/Yr.
