Responsibilities

The Regional Pharmacy Manager of Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Services is responsible for providing managerial and programmatic direction for ambulatory care and specialty pharmacy services across the designated territory. This multi-site Regional Pharmacy Manager position provides managerial support for pharmacy teams providing disease state management services in the ambulatory care space and driving population health/value-based care initiatives while working under collaborative drug therapy management agreements. This position helps support pharmacy-driven ambulatory clinic growth/expansion, relationships with providers and service lines, financial performance, integration of ambulatory care and retail pharmacy services, and optimization of specialty pharmacy programs. The Regional Pharmacy Manager is responsible for planning, supporting, monitoring, and evaluating the provision of ambulatory care and specialty pharmacy services, pharmacist/technician onboarding, marketing/communicating to provider groups, management of performance metrics, and assisting with day-to-day staff support.



Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Required qualifications:

    Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
  1. B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required
  2. PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency required (significant experience may be considered in lieu of residency)
  3. 5 years of pharmacist experience with at least 3 years of previous experience in ambulatory care pharmacy required
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  5. Requires demonstrated leadership ability and experience working with staff, physicians, and patients.
  6. Experience with ambulatory care clinic and specialty pharmacy operations as well as knowledge of EMR software systems required

Preferred qualification:

  1. PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency completion preferred
  2. Board Certification in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy preferred

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $68.40 to $106.56. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
