The Chaplain interviews and counsels incarcerated persons on ethical and moral problems and spiritual matters; prepares and conducts religious services and administers religious rites; organizes and instructs classes in religious and sacred music; supervises the arranging of programs conducted in the institution by visiting religious and allied groups; counsels with incarcerated persons regarding family problems, serves when designated as a group member of/or consultant to classification committees; works with groups for incarcerated persons and incarcerated persons activities. The Chaplain will work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week at CIM. The Community Resources Manager can make changes to Chaplain's work schedule when necessary. Any requests for a change of work schedule must be submitted to the Community Resources Manager for consideration and approval.
