Resolves hardware, software and communication problems/conflicts/defects. May interact with customers, recommend and purchase inventory, and control supplies and/or parts. Ability to perform intermediate repairs and upgrades on a wide variety of computers and peripherals 2. Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware, and communications. 3. Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures 4. Ability to simultaneously coordinate and complete multiple projects 5. Knowledge of advances computer troubleshooting techniques 6. Ability to diagnose the nature and extend of a wide range of computer problems 7. Ability to install and configure systems, hardware and peripherals Preferred Qualifications: 1. Knowledge of maintenance and repair of computer hardware 2. Investigating and resolving problems and/or repairing as specified by work orders 3. Other customized configurations 4. Installing, integrating and configuring new systems and hardware for users 5. Knowledge of the Windows 7, 8 and 10 operating system as well as the Mac OS (a basic skill set such as ability to connect to and troubleshoot wire/wireless network connections, understanding of web browser settings, and other relevant areas necessary to connect to UNM services).
