Financial Lead
The Finance Lead role will be responsible for providing financial support, maintaining financial oversight, and making recommendations on financial issues to their assigned business unit(s) leaders. The role will act as the primary financial partner for the assigned business unit(s) management team.
Position Competencies
A comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures to aid in the completion of highly complex assignments. Provides counsel to client leaders to proactively anticipate and address complex to very complex financial issues impacting the business. Requires advanced technical proficiency and understanding and knowledge of financial systems software e.g. Hyperion.
Position Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis Support


  • Provide financial support to business units.
  • Maintain financial oversight and make recommendations on financial issues to assigned business unit(s).
  • Act as primary financial partner for assigned business unit(s) and be an active participant at team meetings.


Monthly / Annual Forecast Process


  • Coordinate and execute the monthly / annual forecast analysis process with assigned business unit(s) including the development of targets and coordination with Division Finance Officers and management.


Communications and Presentations


  • Lead and/or present financial analysis and results to business unit(s).


Project Management


  • Provide project financial support and analytics related to financial and other performance metrics to assigned business unit(s).


Review and Analysis of Monthly Results


  • Coordinate and execute the review of monthly reporting and results process with assigned business unit(s).
  • Provide analytical support and recommendations on key financial issues, which includes the research and explanation of variances to the plan in coordination with assigned business unit(s)


Strategic Issue Development


  • Partner with assigned business unit (s) on development of their strategic plans.
  • May include development of profit and growth improvement ideas and/or expense control ideas and corresponding analysis from a financial perspective.


MIS Issue Resolution


  • Proactively resolve MIS issues impacting performance and review impact with business unit(s) and Divisional Financial Officers.


Business Decision Support (Problem Resolution)


  • Provide support to business units on how to apply policy.
  • Provide objective viewpoint on financial results for the business unit.

Position Qualifications


  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 5 years of experience in Finance or related field
  • 4 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office software (Excel including pivot tables, charts, graphs, Word, PowerPoint)

Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
