Operations Department Manager I
Operations Department Manager directly manages a medium to large team of more senior non-exempt. Responsible for a set of highly complex operational activities that occur throughout the day and after-hours, including ensuring all associated critical service level targets are met which requires comprehensive planning and periodic execution of contingency processes. Provides direct input to financial plan and performance, works independently on highly complex incidents/issues and leads medium to large size projects to drive improvements in business processes that lead to meaningful efficiencies or enhanced customer experience.
Position Responsibilities


  • Effectively lead and manage the team. Provide coaching, training, development, and performance management. Responsible for hiring, firing, and salary administration in accordance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Develop and manage a high-performing team. Directly manage the day-to-day Human Resources processes for employees, including selection, training, performance management, disciplinary actions, individual career development, recognition, and retention.
  • Responsible for the coordination and oversight of compliance and adhering to Bank policies and Enhanced Authentication Procedures.
  • Obtain satisfactory or better audit ratings.
  • Provide input that is used to identify, evaluate, and determine risks and consequences for decisions impacting unit.
  • Identify risks associated with tasks/activities and take steps to mitigate effectively.
    Perform periodic self-evaluations to ensure controls are working as designed.
  • Ensure compliance with all department, corporate and government procedures, policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Provide direct input during financial planning and ongoing forecasting and oversight throughout cycle.
  • Identify risks associated with tasks/activities and take steps to mitigate effectively.

Position Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • 4 years' experience in operations management

Work Best Category: Category B - 3-4 days in office on designated days/1-2 days remote Hours: 3:00pm - 12:00am Monday - Friday Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
