Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking a Finance Business Partner or Senior Finance Business Partner located in Wichita, KS. This role will focus in our Equipment, Technology, and Services (ET&S) businesses. ET&S businesses include the brands of John Zink, Koch-Glitch, Koch Specialty Plant Services, Montz, amongst others and have business and manufacturing locations across the globe. If you are an ambitious leader with an interest and capability in Business Finance alongside a passion to engage with every area of the business (sales, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, planning, strategy, point of view, market analysis, etc), this could be an excellent role on your path to running a business or capability some day!

This role is a valuable member of an integrated business team driving the business unit forward. By representing Finance, you will be expected to bring the necessary economic and financial knowledge to the business team to improve decision making and maximize value creation for our customers, suppliers, shareholders and all other constituents. The successful candidate will be a change agent assisting in the development of clear strategies and priorities to capture opportunities, and creatively contributing to the vision development and long-range planning processes for the business. This will be accomplished by both the personal application and the influencing of the business team application of our management framework we call Principle Based ManagementTM.

What You Will Do

* Deliver accurate financial analysis, providing insights into business performance while driving integrated business team accountability and profitable action for your area of focus in the business. This includes but is not limited to monthly financial statement review, forecasting processes, trend analysis for opportunity identification, benchmarking, and originating opportunities to improve the financial performance of ET&S.
* Promote the integrated business team concept by effectively partnering with business leaders and all capabilities within the organization to align priorities, improve decision making, and take action.
* Use and apply your knowledge from other industries and business models to analyze our current and future performance, connecting all business leaders to key drivers of our performance and what things can have the largest impact on improving future performance
* Help build economic thinking capability across the business team, coaching and applying economic principles and frameworks that improve decisions around pricing, project acceptance, capital investments, manufacturing, supply chain, SG&A cost management, etc. You will also be expected to develop usable economic models that improve the day-to-day decision making of the capabilities.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Meaningful experience in business analysis, finance, accounting, commercial development, business strategy, sales, procurement, planning, engineering, manufacturing or other business capability roles with responsibilities that included improving the financial performance of the business
* Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives as well as partnering with senior leaders in a business team environment to communicate business strategy, articulate economic value of alternative options, and/or seek investment authority from senior leadership.
* Experience and passion in analyzing and communicating periodic financial performance (monthly, quarterly, annual results), near-term financial forecasts (next year), long-range strategic planning 3-5 year outlooks), and key financial improvement bets throughout these timeframes.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills including using effective charts and graphs that can translate to all levels of the organization, from the shop floor to the CEO.
* Comfortability in highly ambiguous business analysis with demonstrated experience simplifying and advancing decision making despite the ambiguity.

What Will Put You Ahead

* Applicable experience in business capabilities outside of Finance & Accounting that will help you better partner with and lead cross-functional business teams
* 3 statement financial modeling experience
* Experience in discreet manufacturing, custom engineering, and/or long-lead time engineered-to-order industrial equipment
