Position Summary: Assistant Director of Athletics - Yeshiva University

Applicants are invited for consideration for the position of Assistant AD at Yeshiva University. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing athletics facilities among other assigned tasks. The Assistant AD will be a vital part of the YU athletics leadership team. The ideal candidate is an outstanding communicator, detail oriented, and possesses the ability to successfully juggle multiple responsibilities.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage athletics facilities and hire, train, assign and supervise student-worker staff
  • Coordinate transportation and other travel needs of 15 teams across two campuses
  • Manage uniforms, gear and equipment needs, including purchases, distribution and return
  • Approve student-worker payroll
  • Create personnel forms for part-time staff
  • Oversee campus intramural programs
  • Serve as department liaison for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
  • The candidate will be expected to learn, understand and emphasize the mission of Yeshiva University, and hold the program and student-athletes therein to the same standards set forth by the entirety of the institution


Experience & Education Background:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-3 years of related athletics experience, preferably at the collegiate level
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and an ability to establish good rapport and effective working relationships with student-athletes, coaches, staff and alumni

Salary Range: $64,500-$65,000
