Field Service Technician

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, has a future need for a Field Service Technician

Territory/Location Information:

• This position is based in Fort Wayne, IN

• Territory covers a 500 mile radius of the surrounding area

• 4 nights of overnight travel required per WEEK

• Targeted accounts are within the Automotive Industry

• Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd swing shift

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED

• 3-5 years' experience in industrial/mechanical environment.

• Water treatment experience OR Technical Degree with 2-3 years' experience.

• Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, talking and hearing

• Must be able to wear a respirator under certain conditions

• Must be able to pass a drug screen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills; proven ability to interface positively and professionally with the customer

• Ability to analyze readings and put data in a spreadsheet in a logical manner

• Possess above-average verbal and written communication skills

• Must be able to explain results of data gatherings
