Wire Transfer Processor
The Global Funds Transfer (GFT) Operations Processor position is primarily responsible for processing customer payment orders for domestic and international incoming/outgoing wire transfers received via telephone, Treasury Management channels, Paypoint, the Federal Reserve and SWIFT. Under general supervision, this position processes incoming wire transfers, performs data entry, routes US Dollar and Foreign Currency payments, clears exceptions and confirms outgoing transactions. The position is responsible for customer service requests including telephone notifications and inquiries from customer and business units. This position is expected to adhere to all department security procedures, compliance, service quality and production standards.
Position Responsibilities:
- Enters, processes and routes USD and foreign currency incoming and outgoing wire transfers from internal/external customers via telephone and Treasury Management products.
- Obtains confirmation, verification, or approval of funds from authorized representatives before processing and releasing domestic and international wire transactions.
- Accurately responds to domestic and international wire transfer customer service requests from customers and business units.
- Adheres to customer authentication procedures, including performing verification callbacks and following Commercial Bank Customer Authentication procedures.
- Must demonstrate efficient time management skills to ensure all assigned wire processing tasks are met without compromising accuracy and quality.
- Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations to deliver excellent customer service.
Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of payments experience (e.g., ACH, Wire, or Card)
- 2 years of Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook) experience
- 2 years telephone and/or face-to-face customer service experience
Work Best Category: Category B - 3-4 days in office on designated days/1-2 days remote
Hours: 11:30am - 8:00pm Monday - Friday
