Description

The Leidos External Technology Function, part of Leidos Office of Technology Tech Integration, seeks a Technology Partnerships Manager. Our mission is to provide strategic advantage for Leidos and its customers through the design, development and transition of differentiated technology-centric partnerships. This position is central to these efforts. The External Technology function is a central pillar to Leidos achieving a "best-in-class commercial partnership program" (Tom Bell, Leidos 2024 1st Quarter Earnings Call) to meet critical government market needs.

The Technology Partnerships Manager designs, plans and executes novel technology-centric partnerships. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will be well connected across the Leidos enterprise to both drive and influence outcomes. The candidate should have experience of Leidos technology differentiators and their transition/productization, and understanding of relevant commercial, emerging and academic partner ecosystems.

Primary responsibilities:
*Design, build and transition technology-centric partnerships with external partners to provide measurable and defensible strategic advantage to Leidos over competitors. External partner sources include commercial, emerging/startup, national lab/FFRDC and academic
oPartnership development activities include: enterprise needs translation and prioritization for each partnership campaign; external tech partner candidate down-select & diligence; partnership design & formalization; partnership transition to business sector(s); reporting on partnership execution and ROI
oThese activities require deep collaboration with business sectors and corporate functions including Office of Technology (Leadership, IRADs, Tech Transition), Chief Growth Office, Global Supply Chain, Legal, Marketing and Finance
oSupport technical meetings and integrated product team events
*Prepare briefings, contact reports, technical summaries, use cases, and other artifacts
*Interface with corporate and business sector technology leads to develop partnership development plans based on strategies and IRAD objectives

Basic Qualifications:
*Requires a STEM BA/BS or equivalent experience and 5+ years of prior relevant experience, or STEM/Business Masters with 3+years of prior relevant experience
*2+ years of demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams and complex operational assignments with high degree of independence
*2+ years of external partner engagement experience, drawn from relevant activities including supply chain management, business capture or business development external teaming management. Demonstrated success of completed partnership agreements or similar contracts
*Technology development, productization and sourcing experience in two or more of the preferred Leidos-enabling tech areas: artificial intelligence, software, cyber and digital engineering/systems engineering
*Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
*Experience in enterprise-scale external partner development and teaming
*Good working knowledge of basic intellectual property strategies and processes
*Proven abilities to listen to, understand, prioritize, and address Leidos sector and enterprise mission needs
*Excellent writing and communication skills with experience briefing project/program briefings to executive leadership

Pay Range:Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
