This Loan Servicing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Investor Reporting team and will be responsible for the direct leadership and colleagues within these areas on daily work, manage to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), OCC, Investor and other regulatory guidelines, and communicate with Director of Loan Servicing on performance and risks within the area.

This person will,

  • Read, interpret, and obtain clarifications from legal, compliance, and other applicable areas to enforce compliance policies and all regulations applicable to loan servicing.

  • Exercise the authority of a manager, in conjunction with direct report supervisors or team leads, concerning staffing, productivity tracking, service level standards, recognition and performance management.

  • Ensure that controls and procedures are adhered to and kept current regarding audit, SOP and security regulations.

  • Research, analyze, recommend and resolve complex work problems within the functional area.

  • Keep informed of new developments or ideas, which would affect the operating unit by reading SOP and intranet updates or other publications. Attend outside meetings as necessary.

  • Contact with vendors, appraisers, investors, internal and external customers, and others as necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the Loan Servicing Department.

  • Review recommendations from staff concerning new methods and procedures to make daily operations within the department more efficient.

Requirements
Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Required

Experience

  • 4-7 years Banking operations and have held a lead position, or supervisory experience. Required
