The Expert Procurement Specialist is responsible for the development, execution, and administration of the procurement and change management plan. Will work with the Construction Manager, Project Manager, and Design Manager to develop a procurement plan to meet project and business objectives; including but not limited to: cost, timing, and quality. Will also be responsible for driving the procurement activity from supplier identification, rf(x) development and administration, change order process and source to pay function.

* Designs and administers the procurement plan from supplier identification, through rfp solicitation, sourcing, contract negotiation, P.O. creation and change management.
* Responsible for the overall development of the procurement plan
* Pre-qualifies suppliers and subcontractors
* Complies with all applicable processes and procedures
* Closes coordination with peers in construction, engineering, project controls and project management
* Resolves disputes among Exyte related groups and suppliers
* Negotiates terms and conditions with supplier and subcontractors to minimize risk impacts
* Other duties as assigned

Show your expertise

Minimum Required
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related required
* 5+ years of Procurement / Sourcing experience
* Experience working in Procurement and Change Management in manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, high tech or construction environment

Preferred
* Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred
* Apics Certification preferred
* Experience working in projects in a construction / tool install / project environment preferred
* Project management experience is desirable
